The Mechanism

How it works

Most partner programs hide the actual deal under tiers, recurring-vs-one-time logic, and clauses designed to lock you in. Ours doesn't. Here is the entire mechanism.

  1. You introduce or co-develop

Send us a qualified lead, or bring us into a project you're already working on as your primary dev partner. Both shapes are fine.

  2. We scope, sign, and deliver

Standard engagement — discovery, contract, dedicated pod, production delivery. You stay involved at whatever level you want, including not at all.

  3. The client pays us

Engagements typically run on a monthly retainer. Payments come in as the work moves.

  4. We pay you

Your commission is paid on the same cadence the client pays us. Rate is negotiated with you up front. No clawbacks, no minimums.

Four Entry Points

Four ways to partner

One program, one deal shape, four kinds of people. You'll usually know which one you are.

01 / 04

Sales Professionals

United States

For people with active networks in tech-buying roles — heads of engineering, founders, product leaders. You're great at the conversation that starts a project; you don't want to deliver the work.

You bring
Warm introductions to companies considering custom software work.
You earn
Commission on engagements that close, paid as the client pays us. Negotiated up front.
02 / 04

Fractional CTOs

United States

For independent CTOs advising multiple companies. When a portfolio company needs a real dev team, you want to recommend someone you trust — without taking on delivery yourself.

You bring
Introductions to portfolio companies ready to build something serious.
You earn
Commission on engagements that close, paid as the client pays us. Negotiated up front.
03 / 04

Design Agencies

For studios who hand off finished designs and watch the client search for developers. Recommending us turns that handoff into revenue — and earns you a reciprocal partner.

You bring
Clients with completed design work, ready to be built.
You earn
Commission on the build phase, paid as the client pays us.

Reciprocal: when our clients need design, we send them to you. We're dev-first and intend to stay that way.

04 / 04

Development Agencies

For agencies with more demand than bandwidth. Refer the project to us, or co-develop with us as your primary subcontractor — delivered under your brand or ours.

You bring
An active project, or a qualified lead you can't staff.
You earn
Commission (referral) or shared margin (co-development). Your choice per project.

What You'd Be Referring

The shape of the work

Partners ask us the same question every week: "is this one for you?" Here's the honest answer, on one page. Refer leads that fit this profile and the first call moves fast — for them and for us.

  1. Long-term product engineering

Building and evolving a product over months, then years. A dedicated pod that learns the domain, owns the roadmap, and stays. Most of our work lives here — it's why our average engagement runs ~3.5 years.

    • 12+ month horizon
    • Monthly retainer
    • Roadmap, not a fixed SOW
  2. Greenfield product builds

Starting from a Figma file, a brief, or a napkin sketch and shipping the first real version. Architecture, MVP, and the runway to keep building past launch — not a one-shot prototype.

    • Pre-launch product
    • Funded or revenue-backed
    • Founder-led conviction
  3. Integration-heavy platforms

Multi-tenant SaaS, marketplaces, operator dashboards — anywhere the real work is stitching systems together cleanly. This is where our vertical depth in EV, Travel, and FinTech compounds.

    • Many third-party APIs
    • Multi-role permissions
    • Heavy backend logic
  4. Platform modernization

Picking up an existing codebase, stabilizing it, and pushing it forward. New features ship alongside the cleanup — nobody hits pause on the business while we refactor.

    • Existing codebase
    • Stalled velocity
    • Refactor + roadmap in parallel

The Fine Print

How we operate

Partner programs usually fail in the fine print. Here's how ours is built — and why we think the simplicity is the feature, not a missing detail.

  1. Commission negotiated per partner

No fixed tier you have to climb to unlock a real rate. We agree on a number that works for both of us before the first introduction, and it generally stays in place across the partnership.

  2. Paid when the client pays us

As soon as a client's invoice clears, we pay your commission for that period. Monthly engagements mean monthly payouts. We don't hold partner money.

  3. No exclusivity, no anti-poaching

You can work with other dev teams. We can work with other partners. We don't sign clauses that lock either side in — the work is the relationship.

  4. Reciprocity is expected, not contracted

When we have a client who needs what you do, we send them to you. We expect the same in return. It's a handshake, not a legal mechanism — and that's why it works.

Who You'd Be Recommending

About MTechZilla

A custom software team founded in 2021, headquartered in India, serving clients across the United States and Western Europe. Bootstrapped, profitable, around 30 engineers, organized into dedicated pods rather than a freelance bench. Most of our growth has come from existing clients expanding scope or introducing us to new ones — this program formalizes a dynamic that's already how the work flows.

Where we go deep

  • B2B SaaS

Multi-tenant platforms, admin tooling, integration-heavy workflows.

  • FinTech

    Payments, ledgering, compliance-adjacent product surfaces.
